Hi everybody, i am new to this forum, and the s3 is new, and starts with this problem:
How do i make my e mail client save my e mails on the phone??? Everytime i get an email, it shows on the phone for some time, then they all are gone. Delited? I can not find them.
Is it because when i start my e mail client on my computer, then my mails disaperes on the phone?
what can i do to save them on my phone?
My Gmail on the gmail client are still on the phone. But my pop3 mails are gone.
If someone has an answer to that, i will appresiate it very much if someone can tell me how to configure my Samsung s3.

That is the way of PoP3. I read my mail on my mobile but I mark any I want to save as unread, so they're still there when I get to my PC and can save them or deal with them properly.
If you want mail to be held in both devices then you'll need to use Gmail or the like.

Not quite. What you'll need to do is stop your PC from using POP3 and move it over to IMAP which I presume the mail app on your phone is using as it's not removing emails. IMAP will allow you to manage your emails from multiple devices without removing them from the server.

I use POP3 and there is a setting on the incoming mail section titled "Delete email from server".
set this to "Never" and your emails will remain on the server - at least they do with mine.

Don't know if this is the right place for this... Something is broke with the email client on the S3. Emails can be received but not sent. This is the case for my home Comcast email account as well as my Cbeyond work account. Both worked fine on my HTC Evo 3D. Tried all the different ports and options. Nothing seems to work. This problem is very frustrating and obviously there are many people experiencing the same problem. Is this a Samsung problem or Droid?

Email works fine here, both in and out and also using ISP based email as well as web based.  Are you sure you have all the correct out-going server settings?

I definately have the correct servers. I tried the ports each provider suggests as well as others suggested by other users. I also tried changing some of the settings like SSL, etc. and the same thing continues to happen. I receive emails but can not send. I am trying to send emails over WIFI and understand ISPs not keeping the default ports open for this but every combination I have tried has failed. I'm wondering if it is phone set related?
