I've already read the other post about the unit getting wet. but my case is quite different. Because after my phone got wet, I tried to open the back and tried to dry it with a hair blower. But I was not really able to open the back since after I unlock the screws, it wont really open, so I just tried to dry the sides of it. When I tried to turn the unit on, I can just hear the sound but no more display on my screen...Please help! I really don't know what to do and I am so upset right now.  I only have this unit for 2 weeks and I really love it. Please Help....

The damage might be beyond repair now seeing as you've powered it on. But my advice would be to get some uncooked rice, and place the phone in the rice in an air-tight container for a few days, you might and I mean MIGHT be lucky. but to be perfectly honest I would expect the phone to be scrap now. Sorry.

I doubt they would help, water damage isn't covered by the warranty, do you not have any phone insurance?

I only have a extended warranty but still does not cover the phone if it got wet. But is it possible that they can still do something about this even if I need to pay? I really dont know what to think anymore. Though I am trying my luck by putting it on the uncooked rice for now.

You certainly can't do any harm in asking them. at worst they say no, sorry we can't help and at best they can. Good luck Happy

Wohoo...thnx for the good luck...Just got lucky. I went to the service center. I didnt told them that it got wet, they just said that maybe I dropped it. SO they just adjusted something inside and now its perfect again.
