I have a Samsung Galaxy 2. I love it so much! I purchased my husband the new S3. He had a Droid X2 which was "amazing" in his words. Since the new S3 his signal strength is HORRIBLE! It doesn't matter if he's using wifi or just through regular mobile data. Half the time he actually misses calls or can't even send a simple SMS text message. I have looked through more forums than I care to admit and still have not found any solutions or even possible attempts at a fix. Has anyone else experienced this?

I don't know if it matters but we are in the US. There is not 4g coverage in our area specifically but it should still function on the 3g side.. (right?) Any help or suggestions are tremendously appreciated!!

I should add that I have NO issues with my S2.

A few things you could try, Settings,more settings,mobile networks, data roaming (set to NRO) network mode (set to GSM/WCDMA auto mode) If applicable in US??

Try hubby's Sim in another handset if possible.

Soft reset (pull battery) Backup and a full reset (try it before installing any updates)

Check if there are any available updates.

Check on your s2 and s3 in about device, status and compare signal strengths between the two devices (assuming your are on the same network) and take screen shots to show retailer the differences and try to get replacement/repair.

Thats all i can think of, others may be able to offer more advice,Good luck.
