I have a new Galaxy S3, which I sync using the standard USB connection into my Dell laptop running Windows 7 and MS Outlook 2010. I hope this is a pretty standard configuration - however when I open Device Manager/Other Devices on the laptop I get a yellow Troubleshooter symbol and messages:
"CDC Serial - The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) -There is no driver selected for the device information set or element. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."
However, no new Driver gets found or downloaded.
Not yet knowing what capabilities to expect of the Galaxy S3, does this yellow Troubleshooter symbol matter? And, if so, where do I find the correct Driver? Certainly, the sync function (Outlook>Galaxy) seems a little hit-&-miss so far, maybe the missing Driver is to blame for this?
